Tribute To Drag: Thorgy Thor

I feel like I haven't done one of these in a while but we're easing our way back, don't you worry. As you may or may not know one of my best friends got me on Rupaul's Drag Race (I mean on watching it) and I've been really inspired by the queens' makeup so I figured I'd start a fun series inspired by the queens. Now I'm only going to be doing my favorite queens from each season. If you don't see your favorite queen and want me to do a look let me know. I'm going to start chronologically by season and today's look is inspired by Thorgy Thor. Thorgy has a unique sort of charm and funny-ness to her. I find her overthinking/indecisiveness/obsessing over details and doubting what to choose because of that so darn relatable and hope she's found a way to cope with it because she's amazing. This is the end of the series you guys, thanks for sticking by me through it, it was loads of fun... Til Season 9 :P

And this is my look... 

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!

Products used:I applied Color from the Makeup Forever Pro Sculpting Palette in 20 as a base for Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in Heather Pop applied with my  Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied a mixture of highlight and shimmer from the Makeup Forever Pro Sculpting Palette in 20  as a base for the  a mixture of The Celestial Powder in Candelight and Brighten from the Kevyn Aucoin The Art of Contouring Palette to the high planes of my face with my  Sephora Collection Pro Contour Brush #74. 

As a base for my powder eyeshadows I applied the Sephora Collection Colorful Shadow & Liner in Let it Snow and blended it out with my Bubbi Dual Cover Brush. To map out and cut the crease I applied OCC Cosmetic Colour Pencil in Sybil and blended that out using my Sigma E30 Pencil Brush.

For the crease I applied Sugarpill Buttercupcake along with Sugarpill Flamepoint with my Sigma E40 Tapered Blending brush and Sigma E25 Blending Brush, respectively. 

For the lid I applied Sugarpill Tako using my Tarte eyeshadow brush.

To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Sugarpill Tako using my Bubbi Contour Eye Brush and Sigma E30 Pencil Brush, respectively. 

For eyeliner, I went with Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper I also used it to create the little freckles under the wing like Thorgy does. For the waterline I applied Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil in Legend.

For the lower lashline, I applied Lorac Black  using my Bubbi Detail Brush.

This is the look with mascara on sans false lashes. 

For falsies, a MUST...  I applied Sephora Collection False Lashes in Astonish using my Duo Brush On Striplash Adhesive. 

For lips, I applied The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Mango Seed Lip Care 01 Pomegranate and topped it off with Tattoo Junkee Lip Paint in Pucker Up.
